Cwmgelli Lodge provides nursing care for 24 adults over the age of 18. The home is on two floors (Daffodil and Rose) and has been purposely designed to provide a bright, positive and vibrant environment to meet the needs of younger people. There is spacious accommodation that hosts a range of assistive technology and facilities to enable independent living.Our Care Assistants will progress through training to QCF 2 or up to QCF 5 and many undertake supervisory roles within the company. There is also plenty of support to gain skills in Positive Behaviour Support as well as manual handling.The team includes Care Assistants, Advanced Practitioners trained in Manual Handling, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Positive Behavioural Management (PBM) and Fundamentals of Care. We also have Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) and access to a Consultant Psychiatrist, Neuro-Psychologist and assistant Psychologists.
