Vacancy Location: SA8 3AB - This job role will include visiting different sites in the Swansea and Pontardawe area
Shifts: Full-time hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.30 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manual Handling practitioner to join our Therapy team at Fieldbay. The role will entail carrying out manual handling assessments in our services for the people whom live with us whom have complex physical needs including mental health conditions, brain injury, neurological disorders and learning disabilities. The ability to be able to deliver training for colleagues in safe manual handling practices is an integral part of this role.
Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given for the position, however the motivation and willingness for learning and flexibility in the role is important, as is the ability to drive and own a vehicle. Study at QCF level 3 or equivalent is essential for this role.
We can work with over 18’s only.

Essential Skills
* Good general education
* Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
* Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
* Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
* A commitment to undertake training and development
* QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social care
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience within social care setting
* Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
* Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
* Confident IT user
