Vacancy Location: Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU

Shifts: Full-time hours per week and a range of Part Time Hours (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Sponsorship: This service does not provide support for visa sponsorship

In addition to your normal basic pay rate, if you work shifts at Ty Cwm Gwendraeth or Cwm Gwendraeth address at Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU, you will be entitled to an additional gross 50p an hour for all shifts. These rates are discretionary and subject to change in line with business need.

If that’s you, then we are already a big fan. Housekeeping experience is not necessary for this role, and we can work with over 18’s. We are here to ensure that all areas of the Home are clean, tidy, presentable and smell fresh thereby guaranteeing the comfort and wellbeing of the residents in accordance with generic cleaning schedules. We ensure that bedrooms, bathrooms, communal bathrooms and toilets and all public areas in the Home are cleaned to the standards set out in the company operational standards. Operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, carpet shampooers etc safely and for their designated use. Ensure equipment is maintained and stored properly. Ensure that the utility and storage rooms are clean and in an orderly condition. Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors as appropriate. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and curtains. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Wash woodwork, windows, door panels and sills. Clean toilets, baths, sinks and hand basins.
